Hello everyone,
I’m so excited to announce that come 2025, we will be replacing the current OvaGraph app with an entirely new one with a new name, built from the ground up. We are designing a fresh and sleek app to fully integrate with the 30th anniversary edition of Taking Charge of Your Fertility, also to be released in 2025. I’m confident that it will help women further appreciate the empowering magic of charting their cycles.
Moving forward, the OvaGraph app and website will continue to be supported until the new app is finished, and any data you’ve saved in OvaGraph or have previously exported should be transferrable to the new app once completed. Unfortunately, though, during this interim period there are several things we will need to discontinue:
- The forums will be frozen, although we’ll be exploring an alternative later in 2024.
- Email support at info@ovagraph.com, although you can contact info@tcoyf.com, if needed.
- Support of the android version, although it may continue working for some time, but we cannot guarantee it will be perfectly functional until the new app comes out. However, I’m told it should likely work fine until then.
We will continue to post updates as the new app approaches completion, and if you would like to be notified when it becomes available or participate in early user testing, there will be a sign-up list on the website shortly.
I would also like to thank Fairhaven Health for generously sponsoring the OvaGraph community for these past many years as well as supporting everyone’s fertility journey.
Thank you again for your support and understanding during this time of transition and growth,
~ Toni Weschler
Hi, will this new app sync with my temps Apple health? Or with Ava?
Hi Beth,
My name is Max and I’m working with Toni on her new app to be released in the second half of 2025. Yes eventually we are hoping to be able to sync with apple health, and shortly after launch we will be pursuing integration with Tempdrop’s wireless thermometer! Thanks for asking!
Hi! I am anxiously awaiting the new book and app release! Is there an update on the expected day of release?? TCOYF has been an incredible tool and it has been a favorite gift to give to friends over the years. I would like to second the request to integrate with the tempdrop sensor! Ideally, integration with other tools such as kegg, proov, and Inito would also be incredible, but in my opinion, tempdrop is the most important. As a researcher myself, I am also wondering if you are interested in generating an opt in clinical data collection page for women who are willing to share their data anonymously. This would be highly valuable to understanding current women’s health trends! Feel free to contact me as I have been involved in previous clinical research investigations (as a patient and organizer).
Hi Hannah,
My name is Max and I’m working with Toni on her new app. Thank you for your kind comments! We are expecting the app to come out during this second half of 2025, but because we are being extra careful with bug fixes I can’t give you an exact date. As for the book, I can’t speak for Toni but I think its likely to come out in 2026, she is working hard on it! We hear you on tempdrop integration and will be working on it, and thanks for the mentioning the interest in the other tools as well.
Finally, I want to say thank you for mentioning the idea of being able to opt in to submit anonymized data as a user of the app, we have been thinking exactly about this kind of feature and agree with you, it could be used to help advance women’s health research in so many ways. I will reach out to you directly just to be in touch since we’ve been thinking about this and would like to ask you a few things. Thank you Hannah!
Best, Max
I’m just finding this book now, it was recommended by my doctor. I just listened to her on a podcast with Dr. Lora Shahine. I was wondering if there is a release date for the 30th edition? I’d rather wait and get the newest one, but I’m excited and want to start reading now!
Is OvaGraph still available on Google Play Store?
Hi Jolene – my name is Max and I’m working with Toni on her new app, to be released in the second half of 2025. Unfortunately we’ve been having some issues with the android version of OvaGraph, so I don’t believe it will be available on the Google Play Store any longer – going forward, it should still be usable for android users who already have it installed on their phone. But if you are a new android user and would like to use OvaGraph, you can still do so by creating an account and logging in through the ovagraph website using your computer. Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience!
We’re halfway through 2025. Do you have an update about the release date for this new app?
Also, will the app have the ability to track hormone cycles without assuming periods are happening? Many women have a hysterectomy and keep one or both ovaries. They still ovulate, have PMS, hormonal acne, BBT shifts and all of the energy shifts from each stage of their cycle. It would be great to be able to track and predict that without having to enter a fake period just to make the app work.
Hi Nicole,
Thank you for your questions. We are hoping to release the app during Q3 of 2025! But because we are trying to be very careful to ensure there are no bugs, I can’t promise that we will definitely be releasing in that time frame. But we are shooting for it!
As for the app being able to track hormone cycles without entering in period data, unfortunately for now the app still marks the start of each cycle by the user entering in a light/medium/heavy period flow, so if you didn’t enter any period flow then the app would detect just one very long cycle. So the workaround would be to enter in a fake period day at the start of when you believe your cycle is starting, which would probably be when your temperature came back down from the end of the luteal phase. That being said, you make a great point that there are many women out there with hysterectomies but who keep one or both ovaries, so once the app is launched we will look into a way to have a user mark the start of her cycle without needing to put in a fake period day! Thank you Nicole!

Hi Max,
Thank you so much for you work!
The Ovagraph was unfortunately never available in my country (I live in Switzerland but I have an italian number), so I would ask: would the new app be available also for us women overseas?:)
All the best (and merry Christmas!)
Sofia
Hi Sofia,
Thank you for your question! I’m sorry OvaGraph was not available for you, for the new app we will be focused first on providing access within the US and then will be working hard to provide access in Europe and then other areas. Merry christmas as well!
Best, Max
Is this new app planned for early mid or late 2025?
Hi Madeline,
Right now we are expecting the second half of 2025. We will keep everyone posted! If you’d like to participate in our beta testing, feel free to sign up with the pop up that occurs after a few seconds of viewing the TCOYF website, thank you.
Best, Max
Hi there! I know Max is keeping up with some of the comments here – I just wanted to share that I’m currently using a TempDrop device along with their app, and I would absolutely love to see an integration with the TempDrop sensors! I’m a developer myself, so I have an idea of what a tall order that would be without explicit cooperation from TempDrop, but just wanted to throw that desire/suggestion into the ring. 🙂
Very excited for the new app and the 30th anniversary edition of TCOYF!!
Hi Kimberly, thank you so much for your comment, we absolutely agree that interfacing with TempDrop or a similar device would be very helpful, and we know TempDrop has interfaced with some other apps as well. Luckily, we know a few people at TempDrop, so will be reaching out to them over the coming weeks!

Three (3) Questions
1. Will the new TCOYF App be compatible with Apple Watch? Such as syncing wrist temperature from watch into app . . .
2. Will the new app remain FREE? Or will you offer free and paid variations . . .
3. Will we be able to share data with our Partners in app form?
TCOYF Member for around 10yrs and can’t wait for the new app!!!!!
Hi Shawana, my name is Max and I’m working on the new app with Toni, thank you for your three questions. We are still working through the final design and build of the app, so we are still thinking about how to interface with other temperature taking devices such as the apple watch, how the app will be paid for, and how users could share data with their partners. All of this and more will be locked down in the coming months, but rest assured we are being as thoughtful as possible about all of these aspects and more. Thank you for your support over the years!
Best, Max
Hello, I am wondering if with the new program you will still be able to chart online from a computer or if it will be app only like many of the other fertility awareness programs? I don’t use a smartphone so the web version is essential for me, hoping you’ll keep it around. Thanks!
-Gianna
Hi Gianna, my name is Max and I’m working with Toni on the new app, thank you for your question – our plan is to initially allow users to enter and view their data on their phone, but also be able to view their charts on the computer, since its easier to see the charts with the bigger screen. However, once the app is released and we can start thinking about future features, the ability to enter your data on the web / computer as well as view your chart on the computer is something we will look into pursuing for sure.

I found out about OvaCue and wanted to get it, but then saw it’s been discontinued. That’s a shame because apart from thermometers all other fertility monitors I’ve found have significant problems like vendor lock-in with recurring purchases, only providing binary yes/no output, no data export, stealing your data, using anti-human AI, having to sleep with things up your vagina or wearing unnatural devices for hours. But are you saying OvaCue may still be usable and may be coming back in 2025? Anywhere I can buy it in the UK?
Hi Kay, thank you for your question, my name is Max and I’m working with Toni on the new app. Unfortunately Fairhaven Health had decided to discontinue the OvaCue fertility monitor as of February 2024, and so going forward the OvaCue device is no longer usable / available. The new app we are working on for 2025 is a replacement for OvaGraph, but still won’t have any connection to OvaCue. That being said, there are some other great options out there like the the Mira and Proov Fertility Monitors which you could look into. Goodluck!
