This is so funny, because my DH suggested this the other night as he as shopping APS and he came across the iPeriod app However, since they've never developed an Apple version of ovusoft, I somehow think that the iphone app isn't gonna happen

Re: Fisher-Price Newborn Rock & Play Sleeper
I had to come back to this thread and update, now that my DD2 is 3 weeks old. We LOVE this thing! DD loves it. She spends a lot of time in this little seat/bed! I don't have her in at night but this is wear she sleeps in the day and she is such a happy camper in it. We also bring it into whatever room we happen to be in (i.e. she keeps us company

Lochia Q
Sorry this is a bit on the TMI but I had a question about lochia. With DD mine was pretty much done by 1 week or 10 days or something. DD2 is 3 weeks old and I still have red/pink lochia. Not heavy, but still pink or red. Still normal?

Re: Babywearing...did your baby love it immediately?
My DD1 was the most colicky baby but she lived for the baby carriers. Now DD2 is much more laid back so far ( - she is three weeks old..) but so far, she isn't into being worn. I've tried her in my wrap, my pouch and my babyhawk! She only sort of tolerates it but eventually gets weary of it. DD1 would have lived in the sling. For a few rough

Re: Best breast pump for mostly SAHM?
I have the PISA. with DD I had the Medela Swing (single electric) and it met my needs but didn't seem to be working right when DD2 was born. I decided to go for the PISA. The reason I didn't go for the Freestyle is that after reading a lot of reviews, it seems like some people were having issues with it failing. Like 4 people would love it,

Re: I thought this was pretty outrageous...
Saw this on Facebook (Gotta love Best for Babes and Kellymom on facebook - get the most interesting stuff in my newsfeed!) http://dou-la-la.blogspot.com/2010/09/breast-is-best-sponsored-by-simfamil.html Don Draper explains the marketing tactics of formula companies. I agree that the product is not evil but the marketing tactics make the cigarette companies

Re: hands free pumping - what would you recommend?
Simple Wishes is cheaper on Amazon - and I think that is what I'm going to try It seems more adjustable than the Medela...

Re: Advice on Asher?
We're Jewish. DD goes to Jewish preschool and there are about three Ashers! Just FYI I don't think that means you can't use it though!

Re: WORST Child Products!?!
I know some people like them, but I HATED the bumbo seat, and so did ds. He looked so akward in it. He liked his reclining high chair or supersaucer MUCH better. My rainforest mobile for the crib worked for about a day.
Ditto on both! DD hated HATED the bumbo - we never used it. She could arch her back in

Re: bundle me?
if it goes between baby and the seat, and must have straps threaded through it, do not use it on a carseat. It can interfere with the performance of the seat in an accident. "lid" style covers are the way to go.
