Re: Tell me your "Shettles Failure Stories" or help me play guess the gender.
My daughter was my IUI baby too! I Oed 2 days after the IUI though. Congrats on your successful IUI! What # was it for you? Our very first one took, I was shocked.

Re: Why Should I Keep It A Surprise?
With our first (DS #2) we didn't get a second u/s, so he was a forced surprise. I was upset about it because we were poor and had no money to buy things after he was born since we were buying second hand. When DS #2 was one, we found out about DS #1 and he came to live with us a year later. Fast forward half a decade of infertility... pregnant again

Re: Tell me your "Shettles Failure Stories" or help me play guess the gender.
Thanks guys, this makes me feel better. So many times people will say "oh, we got pregnant the day we Oed and it was a girl, but then their charts show BDing every other day for the week before. The ones I love are when O *only* could contradict the "boys are fast, girls are slow" rule... like the boy who is conceived 4 days after O,

Re: Help us decide on our baby girl's name!
I love both names equally, but I love the flow of Nathalie Elizabeth better. Lucy Claire is not as flowy and more blunt.

Tell me your "Shettles Failure Stories" or help me play guess the gender.
We are wanting to be surprised this pregnancy (does not stop be from obsessing about gender), and so far I am as EVERYTHING conflicts with every "rule" I have had in pregnancy.... except the timing. Is it time to give up on being surprised and just buy all blue? Or is there still hope it is still 50/50 at this point? My chart: http://tcoyf

Re: Just for fun- guess the sex of my baby! (poll)
Oh wow!! Congratulations! I have pretty much given up on guessing my baby's gender. The wives takes conflict the symptoms, conflict the BD days, conflict my gut. The only thing I am certain of is that it is not puppies and I will know in January. Great fun mama, and enjoy that sweet little baby. (Would love to see pics of who was in there ).

Re: HPT vs. Doctor's office pee test? (pg mentioned)
With my daughter, I got my BFP on 10 dpo, I had 4 (with me, different brands) at my OB apt on 12dpo. Their test was neg (smu), and I talked them into a beta hcg, even though she told me it was pointless, my tests were wrong. My beta was 65. This time, I got my BFP (again) on 10dpo, got my primary doc to give me a beta, it was 10. I got a Yes+ on my

Re: Help! I'm at zero!
My LOs are Austin, Christopher, Matthew and Sophia. Since their names were all in the top 20 (probably closer to top 5) for their years, I went to www.babynames.com and saved all the names I like in the top 50 most popular. We have quite a long list too, and I figure as time rolls on we will find a name that speaks to us. I didn't have any of my
