Description:
evidence that stress impacts a cycle -- working 80+hr/week in a high-stress job has definitely inhibited my ovulation.

I am having similar problems.  Does stress affect your ovulation that much?  I'm hoping so because I have been SO stressed out this past month and am now on CD36, with no ovulation still!  I have ewcm as if I'm gearing up", but no continued temp shift.

i'm nearly certain it's my stress.  i've been worked up for PCOS - negative.  all my other tests thus far are pretty normal and i ovulate easily with clomid.  with this cycle, i wanted a clomid break, and kind of wanted to see if i'd ovulate on my own.  guess i got that answer! nope!  breakthru bleed started CD54.

my job:  i'm a surgical resident, in charge of a busy orthopaedic trauma service, working routinely ~80hrs/week, and often (about every 3-4 days) am on call and at the hospital for up to 36 hours at a time, depending on how busy it is that night.  my ovaries do NOT like this schedule!  thankfully it's almost over.  :)
