Cautiously Optimistic... :)

Description:
We have been TTC #1 since February 2010, and I have since struggled with anovulation and oligo-ovulation. I managed to conceive once on the third round of 100mg Clomid, but I had a m/c due to a blighted ovum in April 2011. I tried 100mg Clomid again after the m/c, but this time, it didn't work. So, I am now at an RE who thinks I have the thin person variant of PCOS. We haven't started treatment, yet, but I DID have my HSG this cycle on CD13, which is supposed to increase fertility for the first few cycles afterwards! In the meantime, I've been taking Femaprin (Vitex + Vit. B6) for several months, and it seems to help me ovulate, albeit quite late. I stopped taking it mid-luteal phase, just in case. I hope that this embryo is healthy and sticks with me! Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers!!! (BTW - the "implantation spotting" was scant and light brown/beige, not nearly as intense as my last pregnancy, which was heavier, bright red, and lasted for about a week) To make a very long story short: Don't lose hope, ladies! :)

I've been ttc#2 and had 2 mc so I know some of what you've gone through.  I will say a prayer for you that it's a sticky bean!

Stay positive!

Re: your health problem- if you have insuline resistance (one of the reasons for PCOS) it is important to have a low carb diet, no sugars etc. And maybe your dr. can give you Metformin to keep the sugar levels at bay.  I have the same thing (thin PCO) and doing all of the above...

GL!

Thanks, All, for your support, and best of luck to those of you TTC! (This site is so great!) Do any of you ladies who have ovulated and gotten pregnant this late in your cycles have any success stories? I know my RE doesn't like anyone to ovulate after CD 19 due to poor egg quality... @ askarita: Yes, thanks! Metformin's the plan! :) I kept my RE appt for Dec. so that we can go over my lab work and discuss where to go next if this pregnancy doesn't work out.
