Rule of thumb on CD 11. Major ovulation pain this month - felt worse than AF cramps. We probably shouldn't have had sex on 4 dpo (they recommend waiting 4 days), but egg was dead by then. The Spotting on 6 dpo gave me quite a scare (thought it might be implantation), as did the influx of "pregnancy symptoms" but alas, we did not oops. I thought I'd post this for the other TTA women who freak out at cycles that look like pregnancy. ...oh yea, and my temps the following month hovered the coverline... still not pregnant. Why do our bodies mess with us out so?

first month trying to avoid (with luck on our side :-))

i got the mirena removed in january, and my husband and i are now using the fam to avoid pregnancy, at least for the next two years... i'm glad for the first month of success... i learned to take my temps more regularly and that withdrawal is NOT as effective for us as we anticipated. we are learning, though, especially about the wonder of the female body!

TTA, successful for second time in 7 years

Due to a mc last month we were TTA on doctors advice but want to do so naturally, we are very fertile so this was only the second time in 7 years that were able to avoid pregnancy intentionally and naturally:) Hoping for a healthy pregnancy next month. It's the shortest one yet, with the earliest O and the most pronounced thermal shift. I noticed that my temps this cycle were particularly jagged, I'm not sure what that means. I know I'm putting this in the TTA section timing was bad for TTA, but we always use WD. That may be due to the multivitamins and herbal teas I've started using. The only thing I was expecting was a 14 day luteal phase like my other cycles. This cycle had a 16 day LP. That may be due to the supplements as well. Still learning!

Ladies, how much does your luteal phase vary in length?

TTA with an longer LP than normal for me.

This LP had me kind of worried. The bf all of a sudden decided to start going to bed at 3-6 in the morning, and his mom wakes at 6AM and if our dogs wake up with her in the morning they are all insane and wake me, and you are supposed to have 3 hours of sleep. Also I made plenty of holiday mess ups on my own.

I changed my time for temps from 7:00 to 5:45 and my bf now understands that if he is to come to bed then his bedtime 2:30 (15 minutes for me to go back to sleep if he wakes me)

Testing out the diaphragm-sucessful!

This is my second month charting and using the diaphragm instead of nuva ring.
