Some of the causes are related to infections, endocrine (hormonal) problems, uterine abnormalities, genetics (chromosomes), antibodies, and medical disorders. If your chart resulted in a miscarriage please place it in the Miscarriage Charts Gallery.

The first cycle following miscarriage can be fertile, although doctors usually recommend waiting a few cycles before trying to get pregnant again. Please include the number of cycles post miscarriage.

This post will be long...but I always appreciate seeing detailed info, so thought I'd share mine. DH and I are 33 and healthy (in shape as well as good fertility test results). We got pregnant last summer, but miscarried at about 6/7 weeks. It was absolutely devastating. 8 months later, many tears, a lot of worrying and tests, and we are pregnant! My cycles are normally around 35 days, give or take. Last week, around 7 dpo, I felt really tired, crampy (but different than AF crampy...it was more like "twinges" in my lower abs), and bloated with sore breasts and milky cm...so those have been my pregnancy symptoms thus far. Ironically, the day I tested, I had an appt. with my doc to possibly discuss more clomid, etc. It was so great to walk in knowing I was pregnant instead! Here is what we did differently this cycle: 100 mg of Clomid on cd 5-9 (to make ovulation stronger), PreSeed, and the Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor (along with the cheapie opks). We also both got tested and got cleared of any problems, so I'm assuming that helped us to relax a bit. I don't know if it was any or all of the new things we did, or if it was just "our time," but we are grateful either way. I know it is still very early, so I am still very nervous and being careful with whom I tell (although I want to shout it from the rooftops!) , but we are trying to enjoy this....saying a lot of prayers, etc. If I could give any advice, this is what I'd say: get tested (you and DH) if you think you're having problems, if you're annoyed with the cheapie (Wondfo) opks, I highly suggest both the Clearblue Easy Digital opks, and (although it's pricey) the actual Clearblue Easy Digital Monitor. We feel very lucky and blessed. I plan to post this a few times under different categories to give others hope. Hang in there, ladies! Prayers, hugs, and baby dust to all! :)

I thought I ovulated on 2/28 but maybe it was a weak one since my temperature rise was not sustained. I had one day of brown spotting followed by one day of tons of EWCM tinged with brown & red, and finally heavy watery blood on 3/8, that day I was also diagnosed with a functional cyst. My LP is usually 12 days long, do you guys think this anovulatory or just a messed up short cycle?

B/O 8w6days

I went to the Dr on 12/18/12 for my first OB apt with ultrasound. I was 8weeks 6 days from LMP. I was told I had a blighted ovum. It was the worst feeling in the world. I went on cytotec since my body didn't miscarry itself. I bleed from 12/18-12/28 with cytotec. On 01/03/13 I had a follow up apt and my uterus was empty on ultrasound but I was still getting a BFP. On 01/14 HCG was 31. On 01/20 I finally got a BFN at home and 01/21 HCG was 18. I never had blood drawn again from that point because my levels were dropping and I had a BFN. On 01/20 I had some spotting as well. My dr told me that it would just be spotting not AF since my levels were not down to 0 yet. She told me to wait until AF before we TTC. I finally got AF on 02/14/13. I am hoping we have a sticky bean this time. I wanted to post this information though to show my experience since it can take a long time for things to get back to "normal"

First chart post D&C

Had a missed m/c at 10 weeks on Jan 18th. My hcg took FOREVER to go down - it was 149 on day 1, which is when I went to the ER. As you can see, I was still getting positives up until 2 days ago, when my hcg was 20. The day after that, my temp finally dropped to its normal pre-O levelAF came today. This was an annovulatory cycle, and really took a lot out of me psychologically, just waiting for that hcg to go down and being tested every week. However, my coverline was around 97.9 or so up until about 4 days after ovulation and then poof it jumped up to 98.4. So even at the end of the cycle my temps no longer go above the new coverline. So confused. Why would it jump up like that?? Even with all the stress of a loss and the grief I have experience my body seems like it is getting back to normal (ovulated right around day 15 which is my average cycle pre-pregnancy). I even did the OPK just out of curiosity to see if I got my surge and I did (plus ovulation pain on one side). All signs point to the fact that I ovulated. So WHY did my coverline jump up to 98.4 from 98.0 (or 97.9 I cannot remember). It changed about 4 or 5 days after I ovulated. I don't understand if this means I didn't really ovulate or if the program just messed up? Any advice would be great. Thanks.
