The patch is applied to the skin, the ring is inserted into the vagina for three weeks at a time and removed during menstruation. Other forms include those that can be implanted under the skin (Norplant, Implanaon) or come in the form of an IUD that may or may not release hormones. If you post your chart here, please note the type of birth control prior to charting. This section is for completed charts and not intended for questions. I ovulated at CD19, had a fall back temp at CD21, estrogen surge at CD26 and a temp dip the day before my period (CD29). My luteal phase was 10 days (I got my period on April 4, but chart has it as spotting. This cycle was actually 29 days not 30.) I'm hoping that my next cycle has a bigger jump for the thermal shift and a longer LP!

Our first!

Just got a BFP this morning. My first cycle post BCP was 28 days, but very light period followed, so possibly annov. Second cycle was about 38 days. Had + OPK about 4 days before period. This time, LP was 8 days. So getting longer, but still too short. Starting taking 50mg B6 midway through this cycle. Any other suggestions? Is it too soon to see doc? Will LP lengthen with time after BCP?
