Post Birth Control

The contraceptive patch and the contraceptive ring both release norelgestromin (a progestin) and ethinyl estradiol (an estrogen) to prevent pregnancy. The patch is applied to the skin, the ring is inserted into the vagina for three weeks at a time and removed during menstruation. If you post your chart here, please note whether you used the patch or ring prior to charting.
