But just as being underweight can prevent ovulation altogether, being overweight can also alter your cycles by causing execessive production of estrogen, which interferes with the normal feedback system of the hormonal cycle. Some of the signs of excessive estrogen are prolonged periods of fertile cervical fluid buildup, delayed ovulation, and irregular cycles. Please include your weight or the number of pounds overweight and whether the cycle resulted in pregnancy. This section is for completed charts and not intended for questions. We are trying for baby #3. I have noticed my CM has been rather unpredictable so this month we tried "Pre-seed" and as you can see, It didn't work. With my first 2 pregnancies someone told me to try Mucinex to make EWCM and apparently THAT worked because I got prego almost immediately. I'm wondering if that's the best formula for me to get a BFP, because the Pre and Pre seed might be too much, I'm thinking. But, I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong, possibly? with the timing? Also, this month I tried drinking Green Tea, there's some info that says that helps too??? I don't know. this was the 3rd month trying this time, and 2 online chart.

60lb overweight and O'd!

TTC#1 for 21 months, and had +OPK for the first time!!

70 lbs. overweight, late O

I added exercise into my life and am eating healthier, and I got an earlier O this cycle. Doctors had told me I would never conceive because of my weight - they were convinced I was not ovulating. Here I am with three charts under my belt showing ovulation and a very consistent LP and period length! This chart is to show that a) fat is unhealthy but not necessarily the reason for not conceiving (turns out my husband has very low motility, poor morphology) and b) you can get so much insight into your own body from charting!

37yo, TTC x 8 mo''s. I''m overweight- 5ft, 7 inches, 220lbs. OPK tests were never positive for me, I used FAM and learned that I DO ovulate, but my cycles were anywhere from 28-42 days. FAM was so helpful, and not as much a pain in the butt as I thought!! Additionally we used pre-seed for lubrication and after sex I stayed supine in bed x 30 min. I''m cautiously excited and hoping for a smooth ride! At the end of 4 weeks I feel good, just minor cramps and nausea! Good luck to everyone trying!

Overweight, hypothyroid and LUCKY

I was overweight to start with and then discovered I was hypothyroid. My ob told me not to worry about the temps. She stated that I may run lower than everyone else. This was our 2nd month using FAM. Also, I turned 40 during this cycle. First child for both of us. I am so shocked that it happened this quick, after reading about me being at a disadvantage for my age and then reading how being obese is a disadvantage also for achieving pregnancy. It can happen.

Overweight 100+ positive pregnancy test

This is my pregnancy chart. Dr Rx Metformin to help with potential PCOS - only on these pills for 20 days, and ta da BFP. So likely, I would have just ovulated in Cycle 3. I got a very faint HPT+ on CD9 but thought I might jinx myself by adding it. By CD 11 it was nice and dark and the digital proudly read Pregnant.
