It is also given to women who have a short luteal phase. The purpose of clomid is to stimulate egg development in the ovaries.

Clomid dries up cervical mucus, so paradoxically it can make it difficult to conceive successfully. It can also cause the second phase of the cycle to be abnormally short. Please include whether your chart has resulted in a pregnancy in your description.

Sadly we missed out time as we had just returned from vacation on CD16 with a mid cycle ultrasound that day that showed no follicule growth (less than 12mm). Well apparently they grew pretty fast to have ovulated 3 days later and we missed our opportunity. However it's a good classic clomid chart to share and compare with others. Next cycle will be our last on our clomid so we will be giving it our all! :)

OMG - i THINK i OVULATED....

O my goodness, I think I have actually ovualted, and it didnt take me 40 days. what do u think? We tried for 14 months and found out I have PCOS with high insulin. I was put on Metormin 2000 mg was on it for 2 and half months at time of BFP. I did 50mg clomid day 3-7 and preseed. Oh and I am an obsessive POASer as you can see but it really helps to watch the line get darker knowing i didnt miscarry or have a chem preg. I have ultrasound at 6 weeks which is in 10 days so I am really hoping for a nice strong heart beat.

so upsetting

Hello
Was on Clomid Cd1-5
Im so upset Tcoyf just moved my O date. I was so excited because mu Clearblue Fertility momitor had giben me a peak reading on the 16 So tcoyf went and put egg symbol the day after i was so excited bc i thought i had covered all my bases but now Tcoyf has just put a rule of thumb on my Cd 15 and moved my egg symbol to cd 20. So i guess my clearblue fertility monitor was wrong and now i completely missed it. My doctor is only giving me 3 more months on Clomid before he sends me to a reproductive endocrinologist.

Guessing Its Another Anovulatory month

Took 100 mg CD 1-5. This month I was on Clomid CD 1-5 100mg. On CD16 I got a peak reading on my Clearblue Fertility Monitor I was even having those pre O Clomid cramps The day I got my peak reading my temp was 97.5 and the day after which was CD17 read 97.8 but now if you look at it it seems to be going down instead of up. I realise that I may have sleep with my mouth open the past 2 nights due to a stuffy nose but is it possible to impact my temp this much? What could these dropped temps mean? Is it possible that maybe I didnt ovulate I mean the cramps went away the day after. I if anyone could help me make some sense of this it would help put my mind at ease . Also should I put these last two temps as disturbed?
Thank you so much

Please help me make sense of this

Hell0,
