Oh, shoot. I didn't mean to steal your flip! This goes out to Sammy with some super sticky vibes!!! And tons of to everyone else!
Sammy--the beta sounds good! Hope you aren't puking too much. So happy for you! Hope you had a nice time at the beach and weren't feeling too bad.
Thanks for the gluten-free suggestions. I didn't write them down and was looking for Udi's rice pasta instead of bread yesterday at Trader Joe's--oops! I'm not sure if I'm going to go the gluten-free route right now, at least not cold turkey, but I might ease into it. When I was a vegetarian for 13 years (until a few months ago), I leaned toward veganism, so cutting dairy isn't that big a deal for me.
I googled "microcosmic orbit breath" and I need to try it!
Ramona--thanks for thinking of me over the weekend! Yeah, it's tough to be right around my due date right now. Have you ever tried extra B6 for your LPs? It has definitely improved mine, albeit only by a little.
AFM--I've decided to look for a second opinion about the lap bc I don't like my current practice, anyway. I'm having trouble finding who specializes in endo vs who just does laps bc everyone does them. Ugh. I need to start OPKing in a couple of days (I'm CD9) and make sure I test consistently bc I'm getting a 7dpo prog test this month.
Julia, Shar, Sarah--hope you're doing ok!
Hope everyone is having a good week!

Zachary Vincent & Lillyana Grace arrived via c-section on September 15, 2010 at 36.5 weeks healthy and happy - Thank You God!!
A couple of questions:
Is there such a thing as too high of a beta? What does that indicate/mean?
What does it mean to steal your flip or get the flip?
Sammy - good luck with Beta #2!
Holly - I tried b6 for a while, I got the bottle of 100mg B6 and took it for 100 days, or how ever many pills there were. I didn't really notice a difference. maybe slight, but I had been taking it 3 months when I had my 1st m/c and wasn't taking it when I had the second, so I don't know if it matters.
AFM - 3 weeks and counting til my RE appt! DH and I are leaving to go visit my sister and her DH in FL for the long weekend tomorrow. We'll be back Tuesday, so a nice long break from work and everything else! I soooo need this right now, work is killing me. Its just drama every day. I haven't told any of my family about my TTC & related issues yet, and I don't plan to bring it up unless it seems right to do so. So we'll see. Looking forward to relaxing on the beach! I ended up canceling my Acu appt with the one clinic I didn't really like and have another one set up for Sept 14th. Hopefully that place will be better. I asked a lot of questions about individual plans, herbs, treatment, prices, etc before I set anything up, so hopefully it will just be a matter of trust and personalities than philosophy & prices too.

All RPL Testing normal except Vit D deficiency.11/3/10 - Operative Hysteroscopy and D&C to remove polyps. Biopsy normal. TTCAL armed with progesterone supplements and extra Vit D!
Ramona- I will answer quickly- my computer is freaking out at the moment. A too low beta means the pregnancy isn't taking hold. Too high can mean multiples, or, in my prior case, it can mean the fetus is genetically abnormal. So believe me, I was happy to see a perfectly average number!
Getting the flip means getting the post that makes the thread flip over onto another page. Michelle is right- I got a flip in Grads and Threats and about the same time, et voila. Local legend is that it's good luck.
Glad you set up with another acu.
HOlly- more later on your post. I can't access it right now with my technical difficulties! I am gla dyou are seeking out another RE.
Hi Lora, and Shar, if you are lurking!
AFM: Beta #2 was 325, so doubling time of 33.4, which is just slightly faster than average for my levels. Yeah! One step at a time. Next stop, ultrasound.
DD expected 1/15
CONGRATULATIONS Sammy! I hope everything about this pregnancy is completely average and normal for you, just like those betas. So happy for you!
I've been out of it for a while - my DH's good friend died very suddenly at the horribly young age of 41 so we've been in a daze since.
I don't have much time for personals. Hello to Ramona and Holly and Sammy and everyone. Hope the CM is eggy and your partner's libido is sky high!
AFM: My husband has his first SA a few weeks ago. My OB/GYN said all the numbers were excellent except the morphology which was 4%, and she said she'd like to see at least 8%. Could this be the source of our problems? She suggested testing again and if it's still that low and we don't conceive in a few cycles she'll recommend an RE for sperm washing and IUI. Yikes. My DH has never been comfortable with all the assisted technologies out there, so not sure if he'd even be OK with this. Does her plan sound good to you? My HSG got postponed til next cycle due to a foul-up with the scheduler (stupid men, why do they let them make OB appts for women if they have no idea what they are doing?!) I'm on CD13, think I might O a bit early this cycle as already having EWCM. The every other day with DH seems to be going well, he's not worn out yet!
Sammy--YAY for a great 2nd beta. Thinking of you--when's the u/s?
Julia--that is so sad about your DH's friend. Sending to you guys. I'm really sorry.
I don't know anything about SA stuff so I can't help you there. Is it a new thing for you to try every other day? Did you used to do every day? We switched to every other day when we were TTC the first time bc every day wasn't working. I find it much less exhausting to do every other! Sounds like it's working better for DH so good luck!!
Ramona--Ooh, Florida! How fun! What kind of work do you do, if you don't mind my asking? I think it's good that you are switching acus--it just didn't sound like a good fit for you. Sorry B6 didn't work for you. It's not a miracle drug for me--not like I have 14-day LPs--but it's helping me enough to keep taking it for now. Hope you're having a great time in FL!
AFM--I'm procrastinating on finding a lap surgeon to consult with. I don't really know how to go about finding someone who specializes in endo, rather than just doing it as one of 50 things they regularly do. Maybe I'll tackle that project this weekend. Gearing up to O in 5 days or so.
