Thanks, Ellen, for being brave enough to post your plug pics. I've seen tons of posts inquiring about the mysterious mucus plug. This should be very helpful to many of us!
Hopefully, it won't be long for you now.

I know everyone always asks what the mucus plug looks like. Well, at 39 weeks, 3 days, I'm finally losing mine. Here it is!

ETA: I had another "glop" probably close to 3x that size this morning -- maybe things are starting to happen!
ETA Again: I went into labor at 12:07 a.m. on 10/31 (at least that's when the contractions woke me) and delivered her at 3:52 p.m. the next day via c-section. So . . . went into labor about 36 hours after losing the first big plug parts.

Ellen,
Bleh.
You should save it for her scrapbook.

I feel no different, other than not being able to sleep. I had an internal that morning, but have had 5 or so before now and even membrane stripping and didn't see a plug. However, I know it's possible for it to regenerate (I lost it early after my CVS) . . .
So who knows? I may never go into labor, although everyone tells me no one is pregnant forever.
I'm only 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced, and she's still floating high (not engaged), so I don't think it's going to happen today, unfortunately. I figure she'll come when she's darn good and ready!
Glad everyone enjoyed my pics. DH was horrified that I would post such a thing (or show it to him!).

I forgot to add this in my last post as to why DF saw my plug and I didn't. I got up to use the bathroom and forgot to flush (pregnancy brain!) and he went in a said there was a glob of snot(as he said it - well it was actually my plug!). Shortly after that baby was in my ribs and DF asked her to move and when she did my water broke! [rfl][rfl][rfl]
