What a beautiful idea!! Thank you, Lori!! Flowers I would be honored to share a pic of my beauty, Scarlett Jayne. Smile I miss her every single day and wonder what she'd be like today. Sharing 9 months of my life with her was pure joy and I am so greatful I had the chance to have her in my life here on earth and have no doubt that we will meet again in the future. It gives me great comfort knowing that I took the time to truly enjoy my pregnancy with her. If anyone would like to learn more about my sweetie pie, there is a link to her memorial website at the bottom of my siggy. She is most certainly a treasure, in every sense of the word! Heart I look forward to seeing pictures of other beloved babies here! Mommy giving Scarlett a kiss: Kiss

I would love to have Connor be apart of such a wonderful thread

He is in my aviator- I only had a short time w/him because I wasin really bad shape after the delivery. It took my 5 days to deliver him and then I went septic and unconcesious for most of the time -- This is the best pix we have of our darling angel :-)

Thank you so much for this

A poem by my mother:
Reflections on the death of a child
By Rebecca Kelley

Dear LORD what is this little one?
It is a Glory Flow’r, My child.
But Father, why was he so quickly gone?
That you may learn My glory now to see
With tear-washed eyes and heart content
To My will reconciled.

But LORD my heart is not content
My eyes are far from being clean.
My heart is now with awful sorrow rent,
Your glory can not see, only agony.
But I will listen to Your Word
And on Your wisdom lean.

Yes, My child, listen to My Word
And by My Spirit I will give
You daily grace and strength to serve your LORD.
In your weakness is My glorious strength proclaimed.
For I will hold you and you shall
By My own power live.

My Father, I begin to see
The cleanest eyes see only Thee.
The calmest heart will rest itself in Thee.
My life is ordered by Your love and wisdom
Until the day You take me home
Your glorious face to see!

Two months is too little.
They let him go.
They had no sudden healing.
To think that providence would
Take a child from his mother while she prays
Is appalling.

Who told us we’d be rescued?
What has changed and why should we be saved from nightmares?
We’re asking why this happens
To us who have died to live?
It’s unfair.

This hand is bitterness.
We want to taste it, let the hatred NUMB our sorrow.
The wise hand opens slowly to lilies of the valley and tomorrow.

If hope is born of suffering.
If this is only the beginning.
Can we not wait for one hour watching for our Savior?

This is what it means to be held.
How it feels when the sacred is torn from your life
And you survive.
This is what it is to be loved.
And to know that the promise was
When everything fell we’d be held.

Lyrics from the song "Held" by Natalie Grant

Sarah's Webpage/Story

Sarah with her little bunny

Sarah holding her rosary:

Something that only other loss moms might understand, I had to have one picture of all of her. I'm still afriad I'll forget what she looked like:

A moment of grief:

Daddy's Grief:

Sarah's Marker:

Thank you for allowing us this space to safely share our babies. I took well over 100 pictures of Sarah, but she was so small, I often fear sharing them. Here, though, I know I can. I appreciate that so much.

The first time I heard that Natalie Grant song I was in the car driving and it's a miracle I didn't wreck. I wasn't expecting it.
