Since 9DPO, I have been having all my classis pregnancy symptoms. I've been pregnant 3 times and these are always my normal signs. Implantation cramping (not AF type cramps), stabbing pains in my boobs, heartburn, increased urination, tired, insomnia... the list goes on (check out my chart below #16). I'm not imagining these things. The cramping was AWFUL the night of 9dpo just like with DD2. I just *knew* I would get a BFP the next day. I've taken about 10 tests over the past two days and all BFNs or evaps (FRER and Devon IC). With DD2, on 7DPO, I started having the same implantation cramping and sharp pains in my boobs. 8DPO, I got my BFP on a FRER. 11DPO with her, my beta was 43. Today, I'm 11dpo and still having these symptoms off and on. With my other pregnancies, I had a definite BFP by this point.
So my question is, is there anything besides pregnancy that would cause these symptoms? I know I could still be pg since AF hasn't come yet. It's due Friday and if I don't get a BFP or AF by next Monday, I will go to the doctor but I was just curious if this has happened to anyone else???? I mean, implantation starting on 9dpo should produce a BFP by now right?

Increased progesterone levels are what cause most of the symptoms in the LP. That is why so often PMS is confused with pregnancy signs.

just a side note: i think 11dpo could still be a bit early to expect a +HPT - for some people they don't get a positive until 16. for my one positive, it took until 14dpo to get a real solid BFP.

Any number of things could be happening. Pregnancy is an option but you will just have to wait and see about that. If you are not pregnant, my first guess as to the cause of your symptoms would be hormones + intestinal upset or UTI + stress. But that's just a guess.

In my other pregnancies, I had dark bfps by 11dpo. I had a light light pink line on an IC hpt this morning but the frer was bfn. Now I'm having AF type cramps and thinking I'll be starting tomorrow. I havent had a uti, intestinal problems or stress lately so I guess it's just been hormones. I stopped breastfeeding about 2 months ago so maybe my hormones still aren't back to normal. Good thing we arent going to really start ttca until August. Gives my hormones a chance to regulate hopefully. This cycle was a see what happens cycle. :)

I came on here specifically looking for a thread like this. I've been having very strong pregnancy symptoms for the last week, but AF isn't due until Monday. Two negatives on Thursday with dollar store tests, going to try again in the morning (Sunday) but I'm just so darn anxious.
All I keep thinking is that if this really isn't pregnancy, then I must be gearing up for the worst period I've had in almost a decade and that I will never trust the way my body feels again because this is just nuts. I haven't had any PMS in over 6 months with regular cycles. No fatigue ever in 8 months. No trouble sleeping in almost a year. I've never, ever had a UTI. My breasts/nipples haven't hurt since I stopped lactating over a year ago. No heartburn/tummy/appetite issues in almost a year. Yet here I am with all of those things at once plus a few other minor symptoms.
I just have a hard time believing this is really pregnancy because we were actually TTA this month, but at the same time I can't understand how it could be anything else. It's ridiculous how such a small amount of hormones could create strong feelings like that.
Anyway, sorry for rambling about my situation. It feels nice to just share even if nobody really reads it, especially since I'm not planning on telling a single family member until I'm already 20 weeks regardless of when I actually get pregnant. This is all so frustrating and I totally understand where you're coming from, you know "What the heck is going on with my body!?"
I know what you mean! I never had all those symptoms and not been pregnant. The biggest thing was the implantation type cramps/pains. Those are undeniable and I can't see how that could be caused by hormones. All the other stuff, I could say hormone related I guess.
Unfortunately, I did get a faint positive on 12dpo but then started AF the next day. So I guess I just had a chemical or that was a wicked evap. DH even could see the line immediately. My period was a little heavier than normal but not painful really. My bbs are still having those sharps pains though. Good luck to you!
