Sorry, gals.
I know it is probably super crazy of me to be so excited, but I got the go ahead on HCG trigger tonight with IUIs scheduled the next two mornings and I am giddy with hopefulness! Two good size follies (20mm+), good lining and estrogen levels. Little anxious about the risks of the follies, but I just want to start my family already!!!!!
Sorry just had to share my excitement. Let's hope I stay on the up emotions and don't get disappointed (even though that is the greater likelihood with the odds not in my favor).
Oh, and PS: I'm kind of anxious about the trigger shot. They said I have to squirt it some before administering to get rid of the air bubbles. What if I squirt too much and lose the medicine? Or is it not that complicated? Thanks!
Congratulations - I was really excited to trigger. And don't worry about taking the shot. It is really easy to do. I think it would be difficult to lose the medicine.
I had my IUI on Feb 1 and it resulted in a BFP! I also had two follicles and I couldn't even feel the actual procedure.
Good Luck!!! Sending you lots of baby dust!
Good luck, and don't worry about the shot. You just want to push the plunger enough to see a liquid bubble on the end of the needle. I don't think you need to squirt anymore than that. I don't know what you are using (I've used Ovidrel) but you can watch training videos here. http://www.freedommedteach.com/default.aspx?email=rmanypatient@freedommedteach.com&RxNum=9654321&st=FL&ID=486
