Hello

To make a long story short, this is my first cycle after a m/c in July that we are TTC. We are trying this cycle without any medical intervention as I have been seeing a RE since May when we conceived on our own after a D/C. I just had another D/C 2 weeks ago and am hoping that we have the same result...a BFP.

What is the best pregnancy test that would give me the most accurate result at 14 DPO? I haven't used tests this past year becasue I didn't want to waste the money since I was charting but the RE is requesting that I do a test at 14 DPO. Walgreens has First Response tests on sale this week and I was thinking about buying a box of digital.

Thanks! :-)

check peeonastick.com but I believe the First Response tests are the best.  Just don't buy anything that uses blue dye or has a + sign for positive - they tend to get more evaporation lines.  Either a standard two line test ( | | ) or a digital should give you a positive (if you're pregnant) at 14 DPO.

Good luck :)

I always use First Response Early Response.  Pink 2 line test.  I've never had a colored evap line and I get positives at 12 DPO (which is my usual LP length).  By 14 days, I get positives on digitals too, but everyone is different with the amount of HCG you'll have on any given cycle day.

I think any test should be good at 14 DPO

Thanks for all your responses! I bought the First Response Early Result with the lines. There are 2 tests plus a bonus test for $8 which was a pretty good deal. The prices were the same at both Target and Wal-mart. Here's to a BFP this month!!
