Well getting sick mid-cycle didn't help, because it happened around the time I typically ovulate so I think getting a cold and having a fever the one day screwed my body up. I'm thankful to say I've had two days of light EWCM and today it's a surplus of EWCM!! My cervix doesn't feel as opened as it was yesterday but I usually notice during the afternoon it seems to open up more and change positions. I guess that is why they suggest testing the same time of day each time because it can vary so much between the morning and afternoon.

I spent a good portion of the day on the phone yesterday calling my insurance a few times to see what is covered and where I can be referred to for infertility and calling clinics. In fact that's still what I'm doing today. My DH and I discussed later what we want to accomplish. Our first question was do we make a 60-minute drive every time we need to get checked out or things done to see what is wrong with us so eventually we can do a IUI or go to someone who is covered by our insurance very close-by, get checked out thoroughly, go back on fertility drugs and this time be monitored, and if that doesn't work then go for the referral for the military facility to get IUI's done. That way we'd have everything covered, know what's wrong and then can advance forward. It's been a little nerve-wracking because it's been almost 3 years since we went off birth control, didn't have a period for 10 months, and then quite a bit of time trying. I must say though since my husband was a submariner obviously we didn't get to try the full year, I'd say 5 months out of each year he's gone but still that's a good two years of trying.

Unfortunately my insurance (military) can be stingy, so I guess if they don't approve me being seen by the civilian doctor for infertility then I would be forced to go to the military facility but I have my fingers crossed for good news. At this point we just have to deal with what we get, right? Hope for the best, expect the worse... especially when it comes to military coverage.
