I had an HSG done last week (no tube blockages discovered & semen analysis is normal) and was wondering how many readers got BFP after the procedure?  I am aware that the body is 30% more fertile after the procedure for the next 3 cycles, but was wondering if any readers got pregnant after the procedure.  If so can you share your experience & how many cycles after the HSG procedure that it took to get pregnant?  Thank you so much.

I got pregnant the cycle after HSG.  The nurse whispered in my ear afterwards to make sure I try this cycle.  Now TTC#2 and wondering if I should go again.

Thank you for sharing your experience with me, that gives me so much hope.  :)  I have all fingers & toes crossed that the egg sticks this cycle.  My temps are a little weird this cycle (I think I had a fall back shift this morning, but won't know if it's that or delayed ovulation until tomorrow's temp).  Did you by chance notice any abnormal temps the cycle that you conceived?

Nope.  The temps were the same as any other cycle and didn't kick into an even higher temp until 16 DPO when I already knew was pregnant anyway.  Good luck!

A friend of mine had been TTC#1 for almost 2 years when she had the procedure done - she got pregnant right after!  (said she likes to think of it as Drano clearing out the pipes!)

She struggled again when TTC #2, had the procedure done again and... Yup, preggers again!  There must be something to it!

I had one in October 2007 but it took IUI w/meds 2-1/2 years later :(

This is really reassuring! I have not have a HSG yet. Maybe I should!  I thought I was a simple CM problem.  TTC for over a year. after two failed IUI we are taking a break and trying the old fasion way.

TTC for 1 year-I had my HSG on 8/10, IUI on 8/16- I hope this is my cycle!! I have heard so many success stories after the HSG I really hope I am one of those stories! If not starting clomid on 9/2 for next cycle!

Update:  

1st cycle after HSG was a BFN, but cycle was really weird with a 18DPO luteal phase (norm is 13 day luteal phase & 18DPO they say you are BFP) with tons of BFN HPT's.  Maybe a luteal cyst??  All I know is that any 18DPO LP w/ BFN HPT's is cruel...I wanted to scream with frustration for AF to hurry up if I was BFN.
