I am the same way. I want it all and I want it now! If there was a magic pill I could take and just magically be preggo I would. I've read all the blogs out there, all the advice, websites, anything there is to offer. I swear, I could become an assistant to a mid-wife now and be qualified! I am on my TTC month 5 and I am sooooooo ready to get a BFP. I try to distract myself by engaging in something that requires all my mental faculties to work. For e.g. I play "words with friends" on my iPhone when I have some idle time so that I don't start obsessing about babies. Hang in there and I am sure you will meet all of your goals soon! Good luck!

I am considering the sex every other day thing. It seems chancey on the one hand, but more "powerful" on the other :). I would only ask if your DH has had a SA. That can check whether his numbers are still good, but also wonder if your FSH is good and quality of eggs. I guess they are standard diagnostics to make sure you're both good to go. Then it's timeing and patience :) Good luck!

I got off of NuvaRing after 3 years in Aug 09 and my cycle was not really regular until February or March. However, it has been like clockwork since then. Good Luck!

Thank you so much for your encouraging words! I have also been scouring the internet for post-NR cycles and am finding the same thing.

I started charting mid-cycle and I found it to be a good practice so that now I know what I'm doing. You might consider just starting and getting into the rhythm of it. It is quite a soothing process and it might encourage your body (subconsciously) to get in the groove!

Best wishes to you too!

I think you should feel encouraged, though, that you got your period after coming off NuvaRing, because it seems that means your body is getting back to normal and working properly. My period has not come, and I've been off for one cycle. It's really confusing because obviously on the NR I had exactly a 28-day cycle, but I remember from before my NR/Pill days, my natural cycle was more like 32 or 34 days. So I feel like I'm in limbo. I also just got the TCOYF book from the library and am excited to start charting, but I want to wait until I get my period, so am a bit frustrated.

The NR website says that regular ovulation should restore itself within about a month after stopping it, but I have been looking at blogs on BabyCenter.com, thebump.com, etc. and it seems that people widely vary after coming off. So I suppose we both should try to be patient with ourselves :) Best of luck to you!
